Voting in New Zealand Sign Language

For the 2023 General Election, there will be New Zealand Sign Language interpreters available at three voting places. The voting places are in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Auckland

4 October between 11am and 1pm  
6 October between 4pm and 7pm 

Wellington 
Ākau Tangi Sports Centre 
72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6022 
Election Day, 14 October between 9am-7pm 

Christchurch 
Deaf Society of Canterbury 
80 Fitzgerald Avenue, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011 
13 October between 5pm and 7:30pm 

You can bring a support person with you to vote. You can get help from a friend, family or an electoral official.
